So here's my idea. Andy film school is a hub out of which flows little personal 'fake true' mini web series of each afs member.
Essentially, you soft script your life and make drama where And Film
SChool and me is the catalyst. Here's how it goes: Episode 2, I am fired from my job. This is the catalyst which begins all of your OWN mini series (I mean mini, one to
two minutes max.) The one fictional element we all share is that you
were all in my class. So I'm fired, CLASS IS CANCELLED. CLASS IS CANCELLED is your catalyst.
Scenarios. Because class is cancelled afs member Peter Conrad (whose PSA's are featured today in the screening room) decides to
accept the coffee date with an actor he really doesn't like and---?
Because class is cancelled, George has to help his brother move and meets the most beautiful girl---
Because class is cancelled, Paul decides that it's time to kill himself---
Whatever. Whoever. Comedy. Drama. Experimental. Doc. You build drama from your own worlds- just like I've done. Your own mini series
uses my drama as a point of departure.
Most of you have cameras. Just keep it really simple. One or two minutes. One or two beats. And if you don't have a fancy camera,
doesn't matter. Cellphone, coolpix, whatever.
Then Andy Film school actually becomes an interesting place to visit and gains traction. It becomes unique. Your stories can stay
small, go big, leave, whatever.
In the end we all learn by doing.

I will DEFINITELY make one. Today is my last exam. So I will have enough free time to make one.
Ps, Andrew, I feel as though you are keeping your distance away from me, is it because of the time travelling hair dressers crack? haha

Others in terms of other members making one? or me making one every month?
Just to make things clear, Is this one of those things where the next member who is making a short movie has to make a continuing story from the last episode and so on and so forth?

No, it's all your own story. No continuing others unless of course you get inspiration from another. For example, Chavez starts his own series, you know him, and maybe you cross through his, he through yours. But the idea is each filmmaker go off in they're own direction. Make sense?

ok, but in your email you pose the catalyst that you have been fired. So, now the idea is to create me own story but it's built around the idea you are fired.
for example:
I start my own short film finding out that you got fired from skewl. Now I have free time on my hands and need to fill that time slot where I normally have class with you. Long story short, I end up in jail.
kinda like that?

Exactly. Your story spring out of the fact you are not going to class. You go somewhere else, do something else, etc. This, me, I am just a point of departure.

Class is cancelled. I'm in Lake Louise; Banff National Park. Suddenly realizing that Alberta is an overwhelmingly large landmass conflictions arise when I compare the magnitude of the Albertian Boreal Forest to the size of the Oil Sands...did they poo their pants for nothing or did the hippies actually have A PLAN?!?!

I like the idea but you want one a month correct? What are your rules on members working together to do a monthly video?
